In the previous couple of years I have had the benefit of taking a trip to over thirty countries for my work. Lots of people inform me that I have a dream job, and I 'd need to concur. I enjoyed getting home from school and spending hours simply enjoying my father deal with his wheel. I like every kind of pottery he made, but nothing could delight me as much as a terrific bowl.
So when I began traveling it was just natural that I would collect a bowl or two in each place I saw. Since I understood they were something that I liked and that I might put to good usage every day, I wanted to gather bowls. I dislike getting souveniers that I can not put to great usage. When I landed in England, the very first country I went to, I was astonished by how lots of bowls there were to read more select from. I understood it was going to be harder than I believed to narrow things down to no more than two bowls per nation.
I have two big shelves in my house where bowl after bowl sits waiting for usage. I am continuously rotating the bowls I use for cereal and salads and other things.
